“Just a little YouTube then we’ll go to bed.” We say this almost every night. Daniel and I definitely watch YouTube way more than Netflix.
The YouTube app on Apple TV has room to improve, but it’s really easy to catch up on our favorite channels. The YouTube app on our Samsung Smart TV is clunky and difficult to scroll through the channels. How you watch YouTube makes a big difference in your viewing experience.
Once you have a great way to watch YouTube you need to subscribe to a few channels. Here are 25 channels we watch on a regular basis. Some channels are updated daily, some a few times a week, and some only twice a month. We enjoy the short 3 – 12 runtime of online videos, because we can watch a few channels in one sitting.
Note: I did not include YouTube scripted shows like Video Game High School or The Lizzie Bennet Diaries. Most of these channels are real life people sharing their passion for travel, tech, humor, business, or pop culture.

Anna is an actress, writer, producer and many other things in Los Angeles. She has a range of videos including real life to scripted skits. Sometimes her humor isn’t always our humor, but we still want to see Anna Akana do stand up in LA. Her impressions are hilarious.
A young British lady now living in London. We enjoy following along with her life. Her videos are creative and interesting. Beckie is very brave in being vulnerable online.

Ben Brown is a British daily vlogger who travels, rides motorbikes, and hangs out with friends. His Visual Vibes films are beautiful.
Supermodel Karlie Kloss recently launched her own YouTube Channel. Her world is interesting and she has a happy, joyful spirit about her. Her tiny films are little rays of sunshine.
Mary Kate Wiles is an actress pursuing her dream in Los Angeles. She is transparent about the heartbreaks of not getting a call back or driving across town and the casting director doesn’t even look at you. We love how she is successful and doing her craft despite setbacks.
Kat Bouska is a mother of three in the Pacific Northwest. She makes films about her life, drinks, Pinterest. She also likes to lip sync. She’s hilarious and one of the first people to get me hooked on YouTube.
Maxwell Glick is an actor, singer, and Disney enthusiast. Last year he made a parody video of Shake It Off about Pumpkin Spice Lattes. I own the t-shirt. Really. We are fans of Maxwell and happy to support him. Recently he’s made a ton of D23 videos getting us up to date on all the new changes to Disney parks and films.
Mike Vacanti is an entrepreneur and online fitness coach. He’s also Gary Vaynerchuk’s trainer. His films are all about fitness and nutrition. He is new to our watch list, but the few we’ve seen have encouraged us to keep going to the gym.
Sonia Gil was our very first vlog crush. We binge watched all her vlogs. She was the first one we noticed being well produced with an intro and theme. She taught me how to pack and dress for our trips. Her films are so well done, entertaining, and informative. Before you travel anywhere you need to get her travel tips!

Lex is a snarky British Londoner. She is painfully witty and sarcastic. Feminist. Sometimes we watch her to watch someone’s view different than our own. She’s brilliant at doing creative talking head videos.

After listing 25 of our favorite I’ve found we really like travel videos and positive people who are chasing a dream. These people inspire Daniel and I to keep creating and have a good time while going after own dreams. YouTube isn’t just cat videos, it’s influencing the world.
